If we want to live courageously, we will need to be open to learning, and improving our skills and abilities, and to developing our relationships with others.

Communication is an important part of relationships, and the skill of feedback is a big part of communication.  It is the skill that helps us to express our needs and boundaries, and in making sure we understand others and their needs and boundaries too.

It is also a key skill that helps us learn from failure.  The way we learn and improve is by getting useful information that shows us the distinctions and gaps in our skills.

Feedback is thus very useful – and even more so if it is high quality feedback.  And there are two aspects to feedback as well, the ability to give skilful, useful feedback and our capacity to receive feedback and make it useful to our journey towards courageous living.
